Raw Overdriven Mind Expansion Systems (ROMES) - is an electronic rock duo of brothers from Toronto, Canada. The pair meld analog chaos with digital precision creating a singular, high-voltage sound drawing influence from 90s grunge and electro to industrial and dance-punk. The duo’s debut album SONIC TRASH (releasing independently on November 14 2025) is abrasive yet polished, electronic yet deeply human. It combines elements of DIY experimentation and distorted synths with hard-hitting rhythms and the punk energy and ethos reminiscent of the bloghouse era.
ROMES’ live show - a living system of machines, drums, and guitars all locked in feedback - oscillates between pounding riffs and warped electronics. The result is an unpredictable yet cohesive experience that bridges past and future, organic and synthetic. Rhythmically hypnotic four-to-floor beats quickly evolve into thrashy rock grooves producing a visceral show suited to both dance floors and mosh pits alike.

Godfather of Desert rock Brant Bjork to Stengade
We are psyched to announce that the godfather of desert rock, Mr. Brant Bjork will play Stengade on November 11th!
Brant Bjork has spent over a quarter-century at the epicenter of Californian desert rock. A founding member and composer in the heavily influential desert band Kyuss as well as propelling the seminal fuzz of Fu Manchu from 1994-2001. Over the last 30 years embarking on his solo career as a singer, guitarist, composer and bandleader, founding his own record labels (DUNA, LOW DESERT PUNK) and more, his history is a winding narrative of relentless, unflinching creativity.
